Introducing the directors Of the Company


Leanne and Brent Mora and their two daughters live in Christchurch, a university city with many fine parks and high schools. It is an ideal place for international students to succeed in their study.
Both Leanne and Brent have grown up in the traditional New Zealand family environment, having been schooled in the Christchurch education system to the tertiary level. Both are aware of the importance of a safe living environment and the positive effects it has on a student’s academic success.
Prior to owning International Student Care Leanne was a registered teacher for over 20 year’s. Brent’s background is 19 years in the New Zealand Police Force, which included many years experience delivering educational and law related programmes to the Christchurch Schooling community.
Leanne and Brent’s backgrounds ensure their understanding of international students, their families and culture. Leanne had two years schooling in Malaysia as a child which created many fond memories.
Leanne and Brent adhere to the procedures outlined in the New Zealand Qualifications Standards for the pastoral care of international students.

LEANNE - director

Leanne is the person you will deal with over the phone and by email, and responsible for all aspects of the day to day business… meet and greet at the airport, homestay interviews and payments, enquiries, student family placements and administration.Brent works part-time with the business.

DONNA - Homestay Assistant

Donna will be at the airport on arrival to welcome you to Christchurch. Donna also interviews potential Homestay families.For the past 15 years Donna has also enjoyed being a host Mum!

ARCHIE - Personal Assistant

The fetcher of the business…Archie is always smiling and loves filing and answering the phone (well maybe not).
