"Staying at Karen's place during my two and half year period of homestay was a very pleasant experience. When I arrived, I was overwhelmed at first, but soon enough I get comfortable with my new surroundings and neighborhood, thanks to Karen and her family. I get to learn gardening, cooking, baking, and more importantly, the Kiwi culture during my stay. Karen is also an amazing homestay parent, she's very nice and supportive throughout my stay. We did a lot of stuff together, from preparing meals and even doing voluntary work. I have to say that I really missed her when I have to move, but I would not be able to forget how amazing and lucky I am to have a homestay parent like her.
Once again, thank you for your service and throughout support all this time, Leanne. I really appreciate it, it was an experience that I would not trade with different one."

Today is the last day for my daughter BIAN Yaqi (Tanya) living in her sweet homestay, tomorrow she will go back to China to have her holidays before the next study.
I appreciate you and her homestay very much for your kind helps and warm cares in this three month study.
Especially, I thank you very much for your help on changing her homestay. The first homestay is OK to me, They are kind. The second homestay is brilliant, Tanya feels happier, they are nice, kind and humorous, make Tanya feel easy and free. They treat Tanya as their daughter, they cook delicous food, they play cards with Tanya, they invite Tanya to go with them to Nelson, they celebrate Tanya's birthday, they teach Tanya driving with patience, etc. Tanya told me, she treat them as parents, Nick as her kiwi-dad, Alana as her kiwi-Mum. I have met Nick and Alana, they are very nice, I'm THANKFUL to them.
